Humans Have Weird Ideas

Tonight, I saw one of the stranger things that humans have had ideas about new ways of doing.  They held a basketball game on a boat under the sky.  What in the world were they thinking?

For starters, if it rains, the court will get wet.  If there is a fire, people have to jump into the water.  Plus, the boat was not even moving, so a friendly pooch could not even enjoy a nice breeze if he were in attendance.

Everyone seemed to love the idea though.  The President of the United States, who is like a pack leader for humans, was in attendance along with his wife, and my favorite sports station carried the game live.  North Carolina played Michigan State, and of course I was rooting for UNC because they have an animal mascot (Go Tarheels!).  The game wasn't very interesting, although there were a few moments where Michigan State made things interesting for a bit, and I find my attention wandering a bit as I began scanning the crowd looking to see if any dogs or cats were in attendance (I never saw one).

Watching the basketball game did make me ponder if I could ever get a college scholarship to play hoops.  I am fast, and I can bounce a ball off my snout after watching Air Bud, so maybe there is a chance...

Speaking of Air Bud, is it me, or is that guy crazy good at all sports?  How in the world did he learn to play them all in such a short period of time?  Phenomenal!
