WOO HOO! Today, my favorite Dawgs, the University of Georgia Bulldogs, crushed New Mexico State 63-16 in its homecoming game, helping the #18 team in the nation continue on its quest to achieve a Top 10 ranking after a shaky start. This puppy's tail was wagging as the UGA quarterback, Aaron Murray, threw for FIVE touchdowns in a single quarter! It made this pup wish I was playing fetch with him, he was so accurate.
However, the good news for UGA didn't end there, as the #7 Arkansas Razorbacks "The Hogs/Hawgs" toppled #9 South Carolina, leaving the doggie-door open for UGA to win the SEC East. Of course, UGA still has to win-out, and South Carolina could make things interesting by defeating the University of Florida in their matchup. If UGA does win out, it could set up a very interesting SEC Championship game, where the Dawgs would likely take on the number one team in the country, LSU.
So, for all of those hating on the Dawgs at the beginning of the season, this puppy hopes that you have been paying attention. The University of Georgia couldn't mark their territory in the SEC East any better (without peeing on it of course - which I always think is a good idea), and hopefully I will get to keep barking all the way into a big BCS game. Go Dawgs!
