Go Dawgs!

There is nothing quite so satisfying as watching some dogs take on some cats and come out victorious!  I just got done watching my University of Georgia Bulldogs defeat the Auburn Tigers, which means that as long as they can defeat one more pesky feline foe, they will play in the SEC Championship Game - so you better watch out Kentucky Wildcats!  Here come the Dawgs!

In other football watching news, despite being colorblind, even this puppy can tell that the Boise State field is ugly.  I hear it is a terrible shade of blue, and I think it might be time to give up on that gimmick.  A green field is good enough for everyone else, and if the score remains the same out there (undefeated Boise State down by 1 after a two point conversion by their opponent), the grass will truly be greener on the other side.  Boise State was saved late in the game by a pass interference call on four and ten, and as I write this with my furious typing paws, Boise State is lining up for a field goal to win the whole game - and missed it!!!  They are now out of the ranks of the unbeaten, and hopefully mean that the Hokies at least move up in the ranks (Georgia, having lost to Boise State to start this year, probably won't gain much position-wise with the loss).

Gomar is pretty upset today, as the Florida Gators once again lost another football game, this time losing to a bunch of fowl, the Gamecocks of the University of South Carolina (the USC of the east coast).  Florida just continues to play worse and worse, and I fear that Gomar might not have much to root for as time goes on.

I'm excited to keep on watching the rest of the night, as I get to watch Stanford take on Oregon, in what is a must-win for Stanford if they have any chance of winning (or even playing in) a national championship game.
