I Caught My Own Tail Today!

This is a tell that you can believe about a puppy who caught his own tail...

I FINALLY DID IT!  I CAUGHT MY TAIL!  Here is what happened...

So I was watching the NBA Finals game three tonight, and cheering for the Heat (mainly because I don't like the sound of thunder - it reminds me too much of the vacuum), when out of the corner of my eye I noticed my pesky tail wagging around yet again as I excitedly barked for LeBron James to score.  Pretending to be unaware of my tail wagging, I slowly positioned my front paws to be ready to spring into action at the right moment.  As the time ran down and the Oklahoma City Thunder's chances vanished into smoke, I saw my opportunity to strike.  Like a wild dog hunting his prey, I attempted to snatch my tail with a ferocious leap.  Unfortunately, I fell off the bed while doing so.

As I tumbled down onto the floor, I awkwardly landed on my puppy head, and my bottom flipped over the top of my face.  Forgetting the pain of nearly knocking the stuffing out of myself, I snapped at the wagging monstrosity that has plagued my existence as a living stuffed animal and - SUCCESS!  I caught my tail between my puppy teeth.

OUCH!  The one thing that no one ever mentioned about catching your own tail is that it would hurt!  Apparently, being connected to my rump means that it is connected to my brain, and without meaning to rhyme I can say without a doubt that I certainly felt the pain.  Either way though, I am finally that dog who no longer has to chase his tail - I have already caught mine.

Then again, I cannot help but wonder - could I do it again?  Hmmm...
