You know what I don't see at the X-Games? A dog on a skateboard!
I'm watching these skateboarders skate down this giant ramp, going high into the air, and doing all of these amazing tricks, and the only thing that I am thinking the whole time is that I bet I could learn to do that. After all, I am still a young puppy, and even though people say that you cannot teach an old dog new tricks, no one ever says that you cannot teach a young dog skateboard tricks... or at least no one I have ever talked to.
I bet I would be a great skateboarding puppy. My helmet would allow my ears to flop in the wind as I stared down the ramp. My paws would have on cool colored gloves, and the crowd would be cheering, "Podar, Podar, Podar!!!" It would be fantastic! I bet I could probably even win the whole thing, especially if I bribed the judges with some bones... not that I would do that, because I could of course win the whole thing fair and square.
Maybe I'll talk dad into getting me a new skateboard to practice with in New York City. I wonder if any dog parks are also skate parks, which would make my pursuit of this dream even easier.
Sigh. A pup can dream.
In other news, we have to move out of our apartment soon. We only have about 41 days left before we have to find a new home! More on this to come soon...
